Friday Night with Guitar George: New Years Eve 2014 Edition

Welcome to the New Year’s Eve Wednesday edition of Friday Night With Guitar George. I stumbled upon this video about a month ago and knew immediately that this would be my choice for New Year’s Eve.

After midnight it will be 2015, So how about Eric Clapton performing “After Midnight” alongside his hero and the song’s author: JJ Cale? And just in case that ain’t beverage-worthy enough, how about following up with “The Breeze”, another JJ Cale composition that has been covered by numerous artists. I would mention the time stamps of some particularly nice guitar moments in this video, but instead I will just let you discover them yourselves– there are plenty.

Please enjoy this video (and accompanying beverages) responsibly, and have a SAFE New Year!!
